Steps to Join a Microsoft Teams Meeting

1) The link to join a Microsoft Teams meeting will be provided by the organizer.

Attendees can click “Join Microsoft Teams Meeting” below.

2) Once the link is clicked, a webpage will open as shown below. If Microsoft Teams app is already installed in the computer then click “Open Microsoft Teams” to join the meeting. If Microsoft Teams app is not installed in the computer or if you are attending a Teams meeting for the first time, please click “Cancel”.

3) Once “cancel” is clicked, the webpage will provide options to either “Download the windows app” or to “Join the meeting on the web instead”. Please click the “Join on the web instead” option to join the meeting.

 

4) Once the “join on the web instead” option is clicked, the website will navigate to the meeting room. Once the attendee’s name is entered, the screen changes as shown below. Video and audio setting can be checked here before joining the meeting. Once the video and audio settings are set, please click “Join now” to attend the meeting.
